Welcome to Class 10!

This term we are using ‘Picture News’ as a source for our topics that we will be covering.  Picture News  provides real life issues that are being faced in the world today. The children are presented with the theme in our weekly class planning meeting and as a class come up with different ideas and things that they want to learn about in relation to the topic. From this point the children are provided with activities which cover the topics they have shown particular interest in. Through these themes we will be covering all aspects of the curriculum including: Language, Literacy and Communication, Mathematics and Numeracy, Science and Technology, Health and Well Being, Humanities and Expressive Arts.
