Hafod y Wern Community Primary School is situated in the heart of the Caia Park Community. The Caia Park estate is part of the Queensway and Caia Park wards. According to the Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation, the Queensway ward of Caia Park community one of the 100 most deprived areas in Wales: the 5 wards that make up the Caia Park community, of which the school serves, are Cartrefle, Queensway, Smithfield, Whitegate and Wynnstay. For generations, we have and will continue to serve the families in Caia with our compassionate and highly skilled team. Our pupils and community are incredibly important to us. Not only do we learn about our impact on the local community, we learn about our wider community. Our aim is to enable learners to become successful global citizens and make a positive difference.
