Early Years - Class 1 and 2
Welcome to the information page for Class 1 and Class 2-
Nursery and Reception classes
Our Staff
- Class 1 is our Nursery class. Mrs. Hughes is the Nursery teacher and Mr. Kinloch and Mrs. Doughty are the teaching assistants.
- Class 2 is our Reception class. Mrs. Edwards is the class teacher and Mrs. Mapp is the teaching assistant.
Snack
- Snack Money is £1 per week and payable in cash to the teacher or teaching assistant. Children are given a healthy snack of fruit and a drink of milk or water each day.
Outdoor Learning
- Children need come to school wearing suitable warm clothing or protection from the sun on outdoor learning days. Please provide a change of shoes or wellies for outdoor days.
- Class 1 Outdoor Day - Wednesday
- Class 2 Outdoor Day - Thursday
P.E. Sessions
Our P.E. days are as follows:
- Class 1 P.E. - Friday
- Class 2 P.E. - Tuesday
- Children will need to come to school wearing a P.E. kit on this day. (Black shorts, white t shirt and pumps or trainers)
Home Learning
- Reading books and homework task are sent home on a Monday and need to be returned to school on a Thursday. Please write a comment on your child's reading in the yellow reading record sent home.
- Bug Club codes for online home reading have been sent home. Use https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk/
- Seesaw codes have been sent home with every child. Please connect to Seesaw as soon as possible.
